As the door opened, Vasudha stood there with a warm smile, ready to welcome Anirudh's family into her home.

Vasudha(touching Nandini's feet): "Radhey Krishna Dadi! "

One by one, she touched the feet of Amrita, Ragini, and Pallavi with the same greeting. However, as she reached Anirudh, their eyes locked and the duo were lost in each other. Anirudh, caught off guard by Vasudha's grace and the moment, was momentarily left speechless. His mouth hung open, and his gaze lingered on Vasudha.

Ragini, with a mischievous twinkle in her eye, nudged Pallavi.

Ragini: "Ani, tu toh keh raha tha ki, Number nahi hai Vasudha ka phir same color pehen-ne  ka kaise decide kiya?"

Pallavi, equally playful, added, "Didi yahan dil se dil ka connection hai."

Amrita and Nandini, noticing Anirudh's reaction, exchanged amused glances and joined in the light-hearted banter.

Nandini: "Bas bas! Hamesha chhedte rehte ho Ani aur Vasu ko.."

Amrita:" Maa, yeh toh sabka Haq hai!"

Anirudh(to Amrita):" Maa, aap bhi"

Vasudha, blushing profusely at the attention and playful teasing, looked down to hide her embarrassment.

Vasudha: "Aap sab baithiye mai chai aur coffee lekar aati hun."

Nandini: "Bache, no formality! Koi ek hi cheez banana chai ya coffee.."

Vasudha: "Nahi nahi dadi, mai kar lungi.."

Nandini: "Bache, no! tere haath ki dishes toh ab ham sab lifetime khaayenge, aaj bas baatein karenge, okay?"

Vasudha: "Okay dadi, toh mai kya banau? Chai ya coffee?"

Nandini: "Bache, make coffee. Ani doesn't have tea. "

Vasudha: "Ji dadi."

As the lively chatter continued in Vasudha's home, Nandini, with a subtle glint in her eye, decided to create a moment between Anirudh and Vasudha. She gently nudged Anirudh.

Nandini: "Anirudh, kyun na tum Vasudha ko kitchen mein madad karke dekho? Woh bhi tumhare saath thoda waqt bitayegi."

Anirudh, always ready to oblige his grandmother and desperate to be with Vasudha, made his way to the kitchen. Vasudha, busy with the preparations, looked up as Anirudh entered.

Vasudha: "Aap? Kuch chahiye tha aapko?"

Anirudh: "Aap." Vasudha's eyes widen with shock at this single word but then Anirudh covers up saying: "Umm mai aapki help karne aaya tha"

A sweet smile played on Vasudha's lips as she continued with her work. Anirudh, trying to strike up a conversation, couldn't help but appreciate Vasudha's grace.

Anirudh: "Aap bahut sundar lag rahi hai."

Vasudha, caught off guard by the compliment, blushed, and her cheeks mirrored the color of her saree.

Anirudh, not one to stop at just one compliment, continued, "Woh pink color aap par bahut accha lag raha hai."

Vasudha, still blushing, whispered a soft, "Thank you."

Anirudh, with a playful smile, added, "Aur waise, aapko meri aaj wali pink shirt ka pink shade pasand hai ya kal wali shirt ka?"

Vasudha, now smiling openly, played along, " umm dono aap par ache lag rate the"

Anriudh:" Par aapko kaunsa shade pasand hai? Kal mai around 25 alag alag pink shades ki shirts lekar gaya hun."

Vasudha: "Kyu?"

Anirudh: "Aapko pink pasand hai na, isliye"

Vasudha blushes again and now her cheeks turn red from pink. She asks him: "Aapko kaunsa colour pasand hai?"

Anirudh: "Abhi tak toh green pasand tha lekin aaj se aapke cheeks ka red colour mera favourite hai."

Vasudha turns around, blushing profoundly, unable to meet his gaze. She says: "Mai pani lekar jaati hu."

Anirudh nods and smiles.

Vasudha serves everyone coffee and then starters- Idli-Sambhar and Chilli Cheese Garlic Bread. After everyone eats, Nandini asks Vasudha to sit beside her shares the auspicious news regarding the Shubh mahurat for the upcoming ceremonies. She looked at Vasudha with warmth in her eyes, eager to impart the exciting information.

Nandini: "Vasudha, maine pandit ji se baat ki hai, aur woh keh rahe hain ki hum engagement chaar din baad kar sakte hain. Aur uske teen din baad, Tulsi Vivah ke din, shaadi."

Vasudha's eyes widened in surprise, a mix of joy and anticipation filling her heart. The mention of engagement and wedding dates brought a sense of reality to the dreamlike situation.

Vasudha: "Dadi umm itni jaldi?"

Nandini: "Beta yeh bahut acha mahurat hai."

Amrita, with a reassuring smile, added, "Bilkul, Vasudha. Aur wise bhi ab ham sab tumse dur nahi reh paayenge."

Ragini: "Bilkul, specially Anirudh! Kyu Ani?"

Listening to their Badi Chachi, Vasudha blushes while Anirudh chokes on his glass of water.

Nandini, Amrita & Ragini erupt into a laughter while Pallavi hesitates asking the question that's been lingering on her mind.

Pallavi: "Vasu bache, mai aapse kuch puch sakti hun?"

Vasudha: " Ji chachi."

Pallavi: " Vasu, kya mai aur aapke Nakul Chachu aapka kanya-daan kar sakte hai? Hamari hamesha se khwaish thi ki hamari ek beti ho aur ab woh khwaish puri ho gayi hai, aapse milkar."

Vasudha couldn't help but sob listening to Pallavi's question. Tears escape from her eyes and Pallavi takes her into a motherly hug apologising to her.

Vasudha: "Chachi, aap sorry kyun keh nahi hai."

Pallavi: "I thought aapko bura laga beta."

Vasudha: " Nahi Chachi, bilkul nahi! Mai bas bahut emotional ho gayi ki mujhe itna pyaar mil raha hai. Bas chachi. Aur Mai bahut lucky hun jo aap aur Chachu mera kanya-daan karenge."

Pallavi, touched by Vasudha's response, held her even tighter.

Meanwhile, witnessing this exchange, Nandini, Amrita, and Ragini exchanged contented smiles. The bond of love and acceptance that was forming in that moment filled the room with warmth. Anirudh, too, felt a sense of contentment seeing the love his to-be wife received from and gave to his family.

Amrita(whispers to Nandini & Ragini): " Vasudha ne hamare ghar ko aur bhi pyaara bana diya hai."

Ragini: "Bilkul didi!"

Pallavi wipes Vasudha's tears and says: "Acha ab no tears!"

She asks Nandini: " Maa, Kangan pehnaaye Vasu ko?"

Nandini: "Haan," and she fishes out two beautiful kangans from her purse: the Raichand family Kangans.

Amrita:" Beta, yeh hamare khaandaani kangan hai."

Nandini makes Vasudha wear these Kangans, kisses her forehead and says: "Beta inhe kabhi mat utarna. Ab tum Raichand parivaar ki hone wali sabse badi bahu ho. Ham sabne  bhi yeh kangan pehna hai.. Hum sabke baad, Raichand Parivaar ka, uski maryaada ka aur uske samman ka uttardayitva tumhara aur Anirudh ka hai."

Vasudha: " Ji Dadi"

Amrita: "Beta, tumhare sabse bada kartavya hoga pure parivaar ko jod kar rakhna, apne bacho ko, aani wali generations ko aise sanskaar dena jisse peedhi-dar-peedhi Raichands ek parivaar bankar ek ghar me rahe."

Vasudha: " Ji Maa, mai aapse promise karti hu ki mai pure parivar ko jod kar rakhungi. Ham sab hamesha saath honge."

Amrita, Ragini & Pallavi each give Vasudha a hug and a miss. Meanwhile, on the side, Anirudh feels a pang of jealousy seeing everyone effortlessly hugging his Vasudha. His Vasudha? He smiles inwardly and decides that when everyone leaves, he'll ask Vasudha if he can hold her hand.

Seeing his maa and Chachi's busy with Vasudha, Anirudh takes Nandini to the side and asks her: "Dadi, aapne Vasudha se Chhote Chacha-Chachi ke shaadi tak yahan rehne ki baat kari?"

Nandini: "Nahi beta, ab ham sab jaa rahe hai, tu Vasu se baat kar ki usse kaise wedding functions chahiye. Mai jaanti hu ki woh simple wedding ke liye kahegi par bache yeh hamari family ki pehli wedding aur mujhe kab se intezaar hai teri shaadi ka! Mai koi kasar nahi chhodna chahti! Aisi shaadi hogi ki pura desh dekhta reh jaayega!Tu Vasu se baat kar theek hai? Hum sab jaa kar decorator, caterer, designer aur jeweller ka appointment fix karate hai Nairit ko bol kar. Jisse kal se jaa kar tum dono har cheez select kar lo."

Anirudh: " Ji Dadi."

Nandini: " Aur usse puchna ki Chacha- chachi yahan aakar rahe ya woh ghar aa kar reh sakti hai ."
Anirudh: "okay dadi."

Nandini to Vasudha: " Beta ab hum sab chalte hai, aap aur ani aapas me baat karo ki functions kaise karn hai."

Vasudha: "Par Dadi abhi toh aap sabne dinner bhi nahi kiya, maine sabke liye dinner banaya tha. Mujhe laga tha ki Dadaji, Papa, Bade Chachu, Chhote Chachu aur sab bhaiya aate honge aur ham sab saath me dinner karenge."

Amrita: " Arrey bache itna sab kuch!"
Ragini: "Haan beta, tumne akele kya kya kiya."

Vasudha: " Maa, Badi Chachi kuch khaas nahi kiya, mujhe toh pata bhi nahi tha ki aap sabko kya pasand hai. Par aap sab jaa rahe hai"

Pallavi (seeing Vasudha's sad face): " Bache, aap pareshaan mat ho, ham sabke liye pack kar lete hai aur Anirudh aur aap yahan par dinner kar lena."

Nandini: "Haan, yeh theek hai."

Amrita: "Hmm, beta ham dinner ke jaate hai"

Ragini teases Pallavi for a change saying: "Kyuki aapke papa aur dono Chachu office se aate honge aur agar aapke Chhote Chachu ko ghar par aapki Chhoti Chachi nahi mili toh pura ghar woh sar par utha lete hai."
Pallavi blushes and says: "Didi, aap bhi na!"

All of them help Vasudha pack dinner to take and leave after kissing Vasudha one by one and giving a teasing look to Anirudh.
